Block Calendars

Just a quick post to share.  I had a go at making this a while ago and thought it would be nice little project for my crafty friends.

I was running a small craft group but sadly it was getting smaller and smaller and not practical paying rent to hire a hall. So now as there is only a handful of us we meet at my house once a month and I must say it has been a huge success.  We have such a giggle and get to have tea and biscuits too :)

The calendars were a huge hit

You can find the tutorial for it here you will need to use google Translate and will see I have adapted my mine slightly.

Right I better get a move on got Son's birthday cards to make for tomorrow and some new digi's to play with.

1st Challenge card

Here I am with my first challenge card in a very long time.  It's using my two favourite things - Promarkers and a DigiStamp Boutique image called Xmas Frame Rosie.

The Passion 4 Promarker challenge is sponsored by the fabulous DSB so I just had to enter and using one of their images means I can enter it into their own monthly competition too.

So here is my card following the theme "Check it Out" hope you like her.

Welcome

Welcome to my new blog "Simply Cards by Sarah"

After having my little girl nearly 18 months ago I lost my craft mojo which I never thought I would, however it has returned with the love of Digital Stamps. Especially the fabulous Digi Stamp Boutique and Tiddly Inks.

My cards are now a lot simpler than they used to be hence the title and new blog.

I am the world's worst blogger so will keep posts short and sweet, it's mainly to keep a record of my creations and share with those that are interested.
